Back At It!!

Well today didn't go as planned as it relates to me taking profits out of the market. I was red on the day; while that is not a good thing, my losses didn't take me out of the game. I made a few mistakes that I shouldn't have, but my losses were manageable. I over traded KERX and it cost me (1 wins, 3 losses). I had one good win SCS; a short on the breakdown of the 16.40 level.  I didn't trade in the morning as I was rather busy, so I tried to get the afternoon move. Shown below are the trades:

Tomorrow is another day to trade. I was able to cut my losses early (except the first trade). I am not upset about today's performance, nor am I content. I made some mistakes that could've cost me dearly. I was able to fight through it. I have to really focus but not worry about the losers as much. I will post my watch list for tomorrow in a few. Good luck and happy trading tomorrow!

Going Live in 3, 2, 1...... Not Just Yet!!

What's up everyone! The time has come for me to put my training to the test...in real time (the paper trading was real time by the way) with real cash and emotions being in the equation. After completing all paperwork and jumping through all the hurdles placed in front of me, I knew for sure that I was ready.. That's until I discovered a tech glitch that is keeping me out of the market! I am waiting on my tech guy to get that resolved so that I can not only put the knowledge I gained from my trading education to task, but to make better trades and trading decisions; and heck, make some money!

As promised, I will post my results here-it may be a link to tradervue as well as a link to my page at profit.ly. I will definitely post my reflections of all trades taken for that particular trading day. I may continue to post the pics of the trades taken-I'm all for leaving the office before 4:45 pm-so we will see about the pics.

I will also post my watch list for the upcoming day. This is ground breaking opportunity to disclose my trading strategy while I am still in the process of  ironing out all of the kinks. Hopefully I will be up and running tomorrow with results to post.

Until tomorrow.............

Good Resuls, Bad Guy

I've been making strides since investing in my trading education. Where I have fallen off is in the reporting aspect...reporting it here. A lot of  events have transpired since January 22, 2014; some I wont disclose; some are downright emotionally gut wrenching and embarrassing, and some were proud moments. My best friend opened up a water sport venture here in the Bahamas, and I am proud of him for it. Anyone that assess all the risks involved with starting a business- and then starts it gets my respect. Just in case any reader of my blog comes to the Bahamas (Nassau), please drop in and take part in his business. I've been out there two consecutive weekends... I had no idea kayaking was so much fun!! Here are a few ads for his business:

On trading news, I was a little skeptical about posting those results at this time because they are simulated trades in a demo/practice account. I didn't want to give some sort of illusion about the amount of money I was making; that tends to be the very first thing that is looked at when it comes to trading. I also didn't want to give the illusion that I am better than I think. I would rather show real results, as they speak for  themselves. Nonetheless, in order to show progress, I would have to show my performance. Shown below is a pic outlining my performance as of February 2014. I'll be honest, I have made money for the last 8 trading days.

What has me really enthused is the fact that I feel more confident in selecting stocks to trade, as well as when to enter a trade and how to manage it. I can honestly say that I benefited greatly by investing in my trading education. I implore all new traders to invest in your education before you go into the market, I also implore seasoned traders and those who may be inconsistent in their trading to do likewise. You can always learn something to help you  sharpen your skills  or simply give you an edge.

Enough talking here is a chart pic of my performance for the month of February:

So there it is. Posting the transaction history would be rather difficult so I didn't. In the future (when I go live) I will use tradervue to show my trades and will put the link on this blog.
